Hi - Joanie here 👋

This month, part of the team packed up and flew to Boston for Webflow Conf. There were massive announcements, a few upgrades we've been waiting on for a long time, some incredible client work to show off, and a talk from two of our own on stage. But if I'm honest, the best part had nothing to do with any of that.

As someone staring down 40 (insert my freak out moment here), I'll admit that making new friends as an adult is hard. Life gets full, work gets busy, and meeting new people ends up feeling like a luxury I rarely make time for. Boston gave me that time back, even just for a few days — real conversations, not work-shaped ones, with people I now genuinely call friends. We turned faces we'd only ever seen on a screen into actual people. We shook hands with our clients and got to cheer to our partnership around good food. We also got to strengthen the bonds with our own team, some of whom are now officially bowling partners...or rivals, depending on who you ask.

We're in an era where everything moves faster, more gets automated, and AI agents are quietly taking over pieces of our day. Our work, businesses, and realities are changing so quickly, and it seems like we are constantly trying to figure out what's next and how fast we can get there. Turns out, in the middle of all that "reinvention", what I craved the most is still the slow, analog, real conversations.

The biggest news out of Boston: Webflow unveiled Source, a new platform where marketing teams and AI agents build, launch, and optimize sites together — working directly on real code instead of a walled-off visual layer.

It didn't come as a huge surprise to us. We've been quietly piloting it with the Webflow team for a bit now — part of the first wave in Webflow's Research Preview program, right alongside being one of the first partners to join their Enterprise program. We're already deep into building our own migration playbook, so that when the time is right, we can bring the clients who'll benefit most onto it without any of the usual growing pains. We can't share everything yet — it's still in limited research preview — but we can't wait to.

We also got to work on some pretty incredible projects. A couple we're especially proud of:

On Stage: Emm & Matt Talk Migration

Emm and Matt took the stage at Webflow Conf to share a bit more about our migration process. It's worth the watch just to see Emm, our Director of Client Services, in action.

Say hi to Ariana

We've got a new face on the team: Ariana Machado, our new Webflow Developer.

Ariana was born in Brazil and moved to Canada as a kid. She's an awesome human and a seriously talented developer — if you get to work with her, you'll see what I mean within minutes. On top of all that, she's running the Chicago Marathon this year to raise money for Girls on the Run, a nonprofit that uses running to help girls ages 8–13 build confidence and resilience. If you feel like supporting the cause, here's her page — she's sooo close to her goal. Literally a couple of hundred bucks. And everyone who donates gets their name on her race-day shirt, so you'd literally be crossing the finish line with her. No pressure, but it's a good on

That's it this month. If any of this resonated, or you just want to say hi, hit reply — an actual human reads these.
